About Us
At Bounce Back Recycling, we’re on a mission to give sports balls a second life while helping clubs, players, and the planet. Born out of a love for racquet sports and a deep commitment to sustainability, our founders combined their two passions to create a solution to a growing problem — the millions of old tennis balls, padels and pickleballs that end up in landfill every year.
With backgrounds rooted in both recycling innovation and racquet-sport communities, our team understands the importance of preserving the environment without compromising the games we love. By partnering with local clubs, gyms, school and sporting facilities, we’ve built a simple, effective, and eco-friendly way to collect, recycle, and repurpose used balls into something new — helping close the loop and reduce waste.

We provide a complete end-to-end solution for the collection, recycling, and responsible disposal of old, cracked, or unwanted balls as well as old & broken tennis strings and pickleball padels—ensuring they don’t end up in landfill.

We partner with tennis clubs, padel clubs, pickleball centres, gyms, and schools across Sydney and NSW to provide dedicated recycling bins. Our team manages scheduled pickups to make the process seamless.
– Individual Player Recycling
For players who want to make an impact, we accept direct drop-offs or small-batch collections. Whether you have a few old balls at home or dozens piling up in your garage, we ensure they’re recycled responsibly.
– Bulk Recycling Solutions
Got a big stockpile? We offer custom clean-ups and recycling programs for larger facilities, events, and tournaments—perfect for clubs hosting competitions or sports stores managing excess inventory.
– Sustainable End Processing
All collected tennis balls, padels and pickleballs are sent to specialist recycling partners where the rubber, plastics, and felt are recovered, repurposed, and reused. The materials are transformed into new products like sports surfaces, playground mats, and road base components as well as household plastics and garden furniture- giving every ball a second life.
– Tennis String Recycling
We provide a dedicated recycling solution for used and unwanted tennis strings, helping clubs, coaches, stringers, pro shops, and players keep this material out of landfill.
Used strings can be collected through our dedicated recycling bins and scheduled collection service. We accept common string materials including polyester and co-polyester, which are then sorted and directed to appropriate recycling and reuse pathways.
By adding tennis strings to our growing recycling program, Bounce Back Recycling is helping the racquet sports community reduce waste beyond the ball — creating a more circular and sustainable future for the sport.
